Privacy Policy

TL;DR: We collect as little data as possible. We never sell your data. We never will. We don’t run third-party trackers. If you’re under 13, COPPA rules apply and we take them seriously. We never collect ID documents, and we never surveil kids’ private chats.

1. Who We Are

RoboBuddy13 is operated by Cosmic Code Kids, a division of iDreamWithAi (“we,” “us,” “our”). Our platform provides AI-generated educational textbooks, interactive learning tools, and related services at robobuddy13.com.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account registration: Email address, name, and password when you create an account.
Student verification: None. We do not collect ID documents of any kind — no college ID, no school ID, no government ID. Every tier (including Cosmic Student) is self-selected at checkout, so there is nothing to upload and nothing for us to store.
Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number.
Subject requests: Topics you submit for custom book generation.
Support communications: Emails or messages you send us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, session duration. Collected via privacy-respecting analytics only.
Device info: Browser type, OS, screen resolution — standard HTTP headers.
Cookies: Functional cookies only (session management, preferences). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect biometric data.
We do not collect ID documents — no college, school, or government IDs, for any tier.
We do not keep photos or videos shared in Communicator chats — they disappear after viewing (see Section 6).
We do not track your location.
We do not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.
We do not sell or share data with advertisers. Ever.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve our educational services.
To generate personalized books and content you request.
To process payments through Stripe.
To respond to support requests.
To send transactional emails (receipts, account changes). Never marketing emails unless you opt in.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data. Period.

We share data only with:

Stripe: For payment processing. Governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Firebase/Google Cloud: For hosting and authentication infrastructure. Governed by Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
Law enforcement: Only if legally compelled by valid court order.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We take children’s privacy extremely seriously. RoboBuddy13 is designed for learners of all ages, including children under 13.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Children under 13 may use our Free Tier without creating an account.
If account creation is required for a child under 13, verifiable parental consent is obtained first.
The Communicator (chat, calls & study rooms) is age-gated: ages 10 and up only, with verifiable parental consent required for ages 10–12. See Section 6.
We collect the minimum data necessary for children’s accounts.
Parents may review, modify, or delete their child’s data at any time by contacting us.
We do not serve behavioral advertising to children. We do not serve behavioral advertising to anyone.

6. The Communicator (Chat, Calls & Study Rooms)

Every paid membership includes the Communicator — kid-safe calls, chat, study rooms, and DMs. It runs on one rule: we don’t surveil kids.

Disappearing media: Photos and videos shared in chats disappear after viewing. We do not save them, we do not look at them, and we never use them to train AI.
No recordings, no transcripts, no chat logs: Voice and video calls are never recorded or transcribed, and we do not keep or hand over chat logs — not even to parents.
AI safety moderation: Automated moderators screen content in the moment to block bullying, predatory behavior, and unsafe material. They act in real time — they do not build a surveillance archive.
When a trusted adult IS looped in: (1) the student taps SOS or flags a concern to their Circle of Trust — their trusted adult is notified; (2) AI moderation flags a credible threat of harm to self or others — the guardian is notified and, where the law requires it, authorities; (3) we receive a valid court order (see Section 4). Outside these safety escalations, private conversations stay private.
Age gate: The Communicator is for students age 10 and up. Ages 10–12 require verifiable parental consent (COPPA). Ages 13+ receive standard access. Under 10, the Communicator stays off — the books, games, and learning tools are all still theirs.
Guardian tools (Aegis): Parents see learning — activity, progress, screen-time windows, and content-filter settings — not private chats.

7. Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
Communicator media: Not retained — photos and videos shared in chats disappear after viewing and are not stored on our servers.
Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
Support emails: Retained for 2 years, then purged.

8. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, we provide these rights to all users:

Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request complete deletion of your data.
Portability: Receive your data in a portable format.
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from any optional communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@idreamwithai.com. We respond within 15 business days.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest.
Regular security audits.
Role-based access controls.
No plaintext password storage (bcrypt hashing).

10. International Users

Our services are hosted in the United States. If you access RoboBuddy13 from the EU, UK, or other regions with data protection laws, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using our service, you consent to this transfer. We apply the same privacy protections regardless of your location.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we’ll notify registered users by email.
